Fellow - On-Air Science Reporter, The American Association for the
Advancement of Science (AAAS)
The AAAS Mass Media Fellowship Program is
designed to refine the scientific communications skills of young scientists by
placing successful applicants in ten-week fellowships in mass media outlets
around the country. I worked as an on-air science reporter for WOSU, a National
Public Radio station in Columbus, Ohio, where I pitched, investigated, wrote,
and produced numerous science-related stories for broadcast.
